Background
In 1997, Allison and her husband moved into their current home, a house built in the 1960s that had undergone several renovations before their purchase. Initially uninterested in further modifications, their perspective changed when Allison discovered a rebate offer in the North Shore News. This prompted the couple to install two heat pumps, including a multi-split unit in the attic, alongside a panel upgrade following an informative online webinar.
“I feel very happy about our decision to do this. We’ve reduced our carbon footprint, we have a more efficient heating system and we’re able to heat individual parts of the house much better than we were before.”
